Bumps and Babies: Weeks 26-27 Recap

 Officially kissing the 2nd trimester goodbye! And we went out with a bang 💣 At the time I'm writing this, I am just a few days into my 3rd trimester. But thinking about the last couple of weeks is crazy to me. I finished my last 2nd trimester milestone for the first time in my life. And we did it big. I'm talking staying up all night, partying, laughing until you're red in the face, early 2000's jams, and lots and lots of belly rubs. People always ask me how I'm feeling.  I know I've said that pregnancy isn't easy - and it's not. I mean it's just something completely new and different that you and your body have never gone through before. But I do have to admit that I've had a pretty beautiful ride during all phases of mine. There were some bumps in the road..or on my face I should say...A few extra happy and emo tears shed, some weird food dislikes, and lots of sweet treat cravings... Bumps and Babies: Weeks 24-25 Update

 Did someone say pregnancy brain ? I could have sworn I was all caught up...turns out I was a week behind 😅 This whole time, I thought I was taking mental notes for a recap on my most recent week. Laa dee daa. Then I realized I didn't even recap on last week! It's honestly fine. As I get closer to the end, I feel like the weeks all kind of mesh and blur together. The biggest change I notice, is baby Greys growing home - my baby belly. Big, big baby Grey :) As the end of each week approaches, I get all of the pings and dings from updates on my pregnancy apps. They give me insight on what changes I can expect for the upcoming week, and that I am in fact, one week closer to meeting the Peanut. And every single time this happens, I have to pick my jaw up from the floor because I can't believe how quickly time has gone by. Week 24 was exciting because it was officially my 6th month of pregnancy. An entire half year spent brewing up a perfect little Peanut. 6 months spent adjust...
